FAQ

Where is the ACT Theater located?

ACT does not have its own theater.  Currently our summer musicals are being performed in the Ware Theater at Lincoln University.  In January, our Variety Show, featuring talented performers of all ages, is hosted by different churches in our community.   Our Traveling Murder Mystery Theater gives public performances at venues that change every year.  In 2013 we performed at Paradocx Vineyard in Landenberg, PA.  We also perform for companies, organizations and private homes.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are strongly recommended for our summer musical.  Ticket prices are the same online as they are at the door, no additional charges are added on.  A reservation insures that you secure the best seat(s) available.

What is ACT’s refund policy?

If seats are available, tickets can be exchanged for another performance of the same show.  Tickets, however, are not refundable.

What if an event is cancelled or rescheduled?

If ACT cancels an event you will have the choice of using your ticket for another available date or receiving a full refund of your purchase.  Call 610-255-1634 if you have any questions.
If an event is cancelled and later rescheduled, we will contact you regarding the new date and time of the event.  If you’re unable to make the new date ACT will provide you with a refund upon request.

What is ACT’s policy regarding extreme weather?

In cases of extreme weather, please call 610-255-1634 to find out if the show has been cancelled.  You can also check the ACT website for updates.  Please note that in extreme weather, the safety of our cast, crew, and most importantly, our patrons, takes precedence over any performance.
