ACT recently concluded its summer musical performance of ‘The Wizard of Oz‘, at the Ware Theater for the Fine Arts on the campus of Lincoln University in July.  Thank you to all the patrons who saw this amazing show!

  • The folks who spent a few bucks for a ticket to ACT's "Thoroughly Modern Millie" last weekend got their money's worth and more.

    The musical, presented by the Avon Grove Community Theater at the Lincoln University Ware Center Theater was peppy and upbeat, performed by actors who had obviously rehearsed hard and done their homework.

  • “The Music Man” performed by the Avon Grove Community Theater group at Lincoln University’s Ware Theater had no trouble putting smiles on the faces of its seven audiences July 19 through 29.

    This upbeat musical by Meredith Willson, directed by Geddes and Mala Marcano, had all the elements needed to score kudos with those who came to watch: good music, a great story and a happy ending.
